In my series Shards of Sense, I draw inspiration from the observation that all experiences are interpreted through mental activity, and these mental narratives shape our perceived reality. The art making process serves as an empirical exploration of the intricate interplay between imagination and execution. I believe that much like thoughts and concepts, the artworks manifest as interpretative constructs, operating as visual tales navigating the complexities of our shared existence.
The artistic journey parallels the initiation roaming of Everyman in the Monomyth: when crossing a challenging threshold – one emerges transformed. The artwork, analogous to this transcendental journey, becomes a symbolic traverse into the recesses of the human psyche, providing a unique lens to apprehend and deepen the nuanced layers of archetypes residing in the realm of the subconscious.
